More Q&A with Joss

As I'm inherently lazy, or more importantly, should be working on a tutorial presentation that's due this Friday, I offer a transcript of Joss' Q&A from Belle 4747 on the SerenityOz Board: Find it here.  WARNING: It contains huge spoilers for those who have not seen Serenity.

Belated congratulations to my English flisters for the resounding reclamation of the Ashes.

My baby boy finishes school forever next Thursday.  I'm a little frightened by this, and stunned that thirteen years of schooling seem to have passed by in a heartbeat. I feel I should say something significant about the passing of time but all I can come up with is the following paraphrase:

Time, time, time! Is what turns kittens into cats, Mr Spike!

Belated congratulations to my English flisters for the resounding reclamation of the Ashes.

On behalf of my country, I accept (know it must have been painful for you to type the words). *g* Freddie seems to have made a right old celebration of it.

Time, time, time! Is what turns kittens into cats, Mr Spike!
Maybe not significant, but very very true. The years go so quickly now: when I look back at my school days and remember wishing the time away because it seemed to be going so slowly I now wish for those slow moving days/months/years to come back. Maybe they will when I'm really old with nothing to do except sit in an armchair and wait for my children to visit me. (Don't know if that makes sense, but you can probably get the gist of what I meant).

Those northern boys certainly know how to celebrate, don't they?

I remember how quickly time went way back then too - doesn't seem fair that now that we can appreciate the passing of time, it goes by so bloody quickly. Youth is wasted on the young.
