RealVampiresDon'tSparkle by me

Thank heavens that's over

My moment of television fame has come and gone.  Hopefully there were very few people I know who actually watched it - although I did have a call from an old workmate about 5 minutes into the show, he was gobsmacked to say the least, and very surprised that I had kept it secret since April!  I couldn't watch the show much, although I didn't looked as terrified on the outside as I was on the inside.  I still have no idea what Buffy questions I was asked - I couldn't watch that part.

Thanks for the call caraway_  - I'm not sure how coherent I was though, still felt a little shaky.  Glad to hear someone else say I didn't come across as a complete Buffy buffoon.  (P.S.  Idol Moments - Milly was about the only impressive one - Kate and the Goth/Country Chick weren't bad as well, the guys seem to be a very insipid lot this year, if only Ben(?) didn't sing Billy Joel ...).

Now back to my history essay.

Eep! I missed it!! I took the tapes out and everything and forgot to put them in. ::headsdesk::
Well from my point of view - the less people who saw it the better - HEE!

How long till you're Hong Kong bound?
Noo! I missed your show! :-(

I'm going to Hong Kong this Friday night, I hope I can get the time to do a post before then.

And hee! Your icon! Pangs and the bear! Aww, I love our show.

Leaving so soon - how do you feel about the move? I really hope it turns into a great experience for you.

If you check out lj community summer_of_spike awmp made a heap of 'movie style' posters including the Pangs one.

I don't think I've got time to send you the tape of my embarrassing moment before you leave.

It alternates between "hey this can be kind of exciting, maybe this is good" and "eep! I don't want to go!". But I think I will have to see how it goes. I'll be looking for ways to get transferred back, hee!

Eep. Unfortunately, probably not as I'm leaving Friday night. But hey! I saw your page! I still can't believe I forgot to tape it. :-(
Like I said on the phone, you were calm, cool, collected and funnier than the host.

Idol: Voted for Milly, SG loved Ben (so I guess I'll have to get her Billy Joel's greatest hits) - I thought he was channeling Jim Nabors myself. Unbelievably daggy. Roxane didn't do a bad job with Natural Woman, either.
Roxanne, that's her name...I liked her and Milly and the blonde curly haired chicky...gahhh, can't rememebr what she sang.
Milly (the first one?) is what Idol is all about. I loved her. Also liked the blonde and the wiggly friend-G something? The guys were a bit useless but i wouldn't be surprised if the Italian guy at the end gets in, simply for being reasonably pretty, Italian and has muscles. Sigh, we'll find out tonight. I thought that Victoria? sucked a bit. I am positive she was in lockdown in X-factor.

Sorry about your car ordeal. I have the flu and am winding down all the frantic deadline posting. Not inspired to do much but blow my nose. *sigh *
I forgot Roxane - yes she was very good as well, but what's with all the old songs? It will be interestig to see who goes through tonight - I couldn't resist, and voted for Milly.

Sorry to hear you're ill, never nice when you're pregnant as well. Sending healing vibes your way.
Maybe we should start one! At least I had inside goss about the fixed poll - apparently Laura's daddy works for Telstra. A case of not how badly you sing and Australia feels sorry for you, but rather who your Daddy is and how he can get the call centre to make lots of calls.
